Gemma (Centacare Employment Client):  My ideal job would be something in the fashion industry. Maybe some designing, sewing or buying. There’s so many different areas it’s hard to know where I want to be.  Being unemployed makes me feel sad, like I’ve done something wrong. After you’ve been unemployed for a long while you lose your confidence a lot.

Clive (Centacare Employment Client): You do get depressed. Actually you feel unwanted, as you say the black sheep because you’re not working. I was very depressed. Just getting off that unemployment I would feel better. I just be happy to see any job.

Sandra (Centacare Employment Client): What I’d like in a job is security and enough hours in a week to be able to support my family and myself. It’s the worst feeling in the world to be unemployed. You’ve got no security. Sometimes you don’t even see that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

Showerama Employer (Centacare Employment Customer): What we’re looking for is someone in our cabinet making area who’s good with their hands, knows how to do a bit of woodworking. Experience is not necessary.

Anna Marie and Mr John Employer (Centacare Employment Customer):  An ideal person with Anna Marie and Mr John would be someone who is enthusiastic, somebody who has a lot of people skills in the sense of they really do listen to what somebody is saying.

Auto Pro Employer (Centacare Employment Customer): The ideal person for Auto Pro I think is just someone who really gets along with the customer.

Showerama Employer (Centacare Employment Customer): Well Clive’s been here a few months now and he’s picked up the work really well. He’s been up to speed and doing it 100%.

Anna Marie and Mr John Employer (Centacare Employment Customer):  Gemma’s been absolutely wonderful. She’s very young and she’s learning very very well and picking things up beautifully. Centacare gave us a call and found out exactly what we were after. They continued to follow that through and screening candidates and anybody that was unsuccessful they were putting the letters forward and dealing with it. Centacare’s just always returned your calls as well.

Auto Pro Employer (Centacare Employment Customer): Sandra as an employee is wonderful. She knows her job. Is happy to come in to work and do her job. Everyday we really appreciate the work she gives us. One of the biggest advantages Centacare gives us is time, because you don’t have to worry about employing someone. They know their job, they know what employers want and they know what employees want.

Showerama Employer (Centacare Employment Customer): I’m definitely happy with Centacare. Sure. Recommend them to anybody.
