Accommodation support is administered by the Accommodation Support Services team. It's main function is to provide individualised support services to people choosing to live in their own homes or in shared support arrangements.

The service responds to complex personal care needs and flexible and changing needs of the people being assisted. Accommodation support actively promotes independence and assists individuals to develop networks and supports to enable persons to live as valued members of the community.

Accommodation Support Services currently operates under the Northside Disability Centre.

Support is provided in the areas of:

• Personal Care
• Assistance with maintaining a home
• Assisting individuals with their finances
• Encouraging and supporting growth and development where appropriate
• Working towards having a life that is rich, full and embedded in the community
• Facilitating and maintaining relationships with family, friends and others.
